What is the difference between full spectrum lamp beads and LED lamp beads?

The more mainstream and common LED water plant lights on the market are roughly divided into WRGB, RGB, RGB-UV, and full-spectrum white light according to the spectrum. The above categories all belong to "full spectrum", and the difference lies in the composition of the spectrum.

Here is an explanation: W- generally refers to white light, R- refers to red light, G refers to green light, B refers to blue light, and UV refers to UVA purple light.

Note: Purple light, and UVA purple light helps plants to color and make plants grow more vivid, especially pepper ficus. Commercial ultraviolet light is extremely low in harm to the human body, far lower than the ultraviolet light damage of sunlight. You can use it with confidence.

1. WRGB is generally divided into the following types:

① W, R, G, B

White light beads, red light beads, green light beads, blue light beads combination. The various colors of the lamp beads can be seen with the naked eye, and the colored lamp beads.

Advantages: relatively cheap, high rendering index, imitation sunlight

Disadvantages: yellowish color, not bright

The lamps on the market include Wilcon V series WRGB (including UVA), Z series WRGB (including UVA), Qianxun WRGB (excluding UVA);

② W, RGB

White light lamp beads, RGB three-in-one lamp beads combination. There may be yellow water

Features: equipped with white light lamp beads, relatively high brightness.

The lamps on the market include Magic Point B series

③ WRGB, 4-in-1 lamp beads

Features: If you look closely at the lamp beads, there are 4 small chips, and there will be yellow water

2, RGB

The three chips of red, green and blue are integrated into one lamp bead. Most RGB aquatic plant lamps on the market use this

Features: Under full power output, it looks white to the naked eye. If you look closely at the lamp beads, you can see three different color chips. The difference between lamps produced by different manufacturers lies in the chip size, and the chip size is related to the price.

Due to the spectral structure of the chip, the brightness of the RGB three-in-one lamp beads is relatively low compared to the single chip lamp beads of the same wattage. So they are generally of relatively high power.

The lamps on the market include ADA Sola (not dimmable), Wilcon S, M, J, T series RGB (dimmable), nala aquatic plant lamps, Nitley RGB (dimmable), Qianxun RGB IVIVD (dimmable)... and many more.

3. RGB-UV

RGB three-in-one lamp beads combined with UVA lamp beads. This spectrum is relatively rare on the market. The brightness is brighter than the normal RGB three-in-one lamp beads. With the addition of UVA spectrum, the problem of RGB lamp beads coloring plants slowly is solved.

Currently, only Wilcon A, P, L, T series RGB-UV versions have this spectrum on the market.

4. Full spectrum white light,

Usually a single lamp bead plus "fluorescent powder" ratio of the spectrum, the wavelength range is 380~780,

Suitable for negative grass, water and land tank spectrum
