What kind of lamp is used for indoor flower cultivation?

1. There are many light sources that can be selected for indoor flower cultivation, including high-pressure sodium lamps, metal halide lamps, ceramic metal halide lamps, microwave sulfur lamps, plasma lamps, fluorescent lamps, electrodeless lamps and LEDs.


2. For lighting needs, a 1400-watt electric lamp can be used to irradiate the plant at a distance of two meters. If you want to save energy, you can also choose a 100-300-watt white fluorescent lamp. This light source will not cause burns when irradiating plants at close range.


3. Shading methods involve using reed curtains, shade yarns, or placing plants in the shade.


4. In recent years, LED plant supplementary lights have developed rapidly, mainly represented by companies in China and other places. These lamps are mainly composed of red and blue LED lamp beads, but the traditional LED red and blue combination pink light lamp has a low color rendering, which is not conducive to protecting eyesight and is not suitable for use in places such as eco-park hotels.


5. Domestic technology companies have developed a new full-spectrum lamp that can simulate the color temperature changes of sunlight at different time periods. The light color is warm in the morning, white at noon, and warm in the evening. This design can simulate the changes of sunlight in the process of plant supplementary lighting.


6. This full-spectrum lamp can provide different wavelengths of light required by plants, which is conducive to the growth of plants. The lamp also contains ultraviolet light and far-infrared light, which helps to increase the sugar content and taste of plants.

Plant LED supplementary lights usually have three forms: red and blue combination, full blue, and full red, to provide red and blue wavelengths of light to meet the wavelength range required for photosynthesis. The red and blue combination plant lamp appears pink in visual effect, while the white light LED lamp is excited by the blue core to produce a visual white light effect. However, this white light LED lamp has two peaks in the blue area of 445nm and the yellow-green area of 550nm, while the 610 ~ 720nm red light required by plants is very lacking, which is not conducive to the growth of plants.


8. The red and blue ratio of plant lamps is generally between 5:1 and 10:1, and the ratio of 7 to 8:1 is usually selected. According to the growth cycle of the plant, the ratio of red and blue light can be adjusted to achieve the best effect.


9. When using LED plant fill lights to fill light for plants, the height of lamps with a power of less than 50w should be 0.2 to 0.8 meters from the main leaf surface of the plant; for lamps with a power of more than 50w, the recommended distance is 0.5 to 1.5 meters.
