Luxgrow Grow Light Controller User Manual

Plant lights play an important role in indoor vegetable gardens and potted planting, providing plants with the required lighting conditions to promote their growth and health. But to ensure the effective operation of plant lights, you need to correctly understand the convenience brought to us by the controller. Next, let's learn how to use the grow light controller.

Preparation and inspection before use: 

Before using the controller, ensure that the wiring is correct, the power adapter is well connected, and there is no short circuit.

Use terminals 4, 5, and 6, with pin 4 connected to B-, pin 5 connected to A+, and pin 6 connected to GND

2. Power on the machine, the adapter input voltage range is 100-240Vac, 50Hz.

3. After powering on, the controller will start up. In about 1-3 minutes, the controller will automatically enter the main control interface. During this period, the controller cannot be operated, otherwise the program will be interrupted and the self-start will not be completed.

4. After the startup is completed, the main interface is as follows:

4.1 After startup, the upper left corner shows the time setting coordinates, which displays the curve and status of the current time setting:

4.3 The upper right corner displays the system date, day of the week, specific time, current output brightness percentage, timed on and off times, and current output season mode:

4.4 The top right corner is the operation menu for entering other pages:

5. Click the top operation menu in the upper right corner to enter the lamp adjustment page.

5.1 On this page, you can click on the corresponding page to set the season, brightness, and time of the lamp; the left arrow in the upper left corner is displayed as the button to return to the upper menu.

5.2 Season settings:

Click the "Spectrum" icon to enter the season settings page. Press the corresponding season icon and the lamp will change the output mode to the corresponding season mode in real time. A total of 3 season modes can be output: SPRING (spring mode) SUMMER (summer mode) ANTUMN (autumn mode). In the corresponding season mode, the spectrum will follow the change of seasons to display the spectrum of the current season.

5.3 Brightness (power setting):

Click the "Lighting" icon to enter the brightness setting page. On this page, you can slide the brightness bar to the corresponding value according to the brightness you want. The lamp will slowly change to the set value within 3 seconds. Because of the fade-in and fade-out effect, if the set value is close, it may not be visually perceived. The adjustment range is: 30%-100%, the lamp recognition is 1%, less than 30%, the lamp is turned off.

5.4 Time setting:

Click the "Schedule" icon to enter the time setting page. This page allows you to set the time you want the lamp to turn on and off. It only supports 24 hours and automatic daily cycles. There are two time settings on this page. The first mode is the mode where the light switch time is between 0:00 am and 0:00 midnight. It is executed in the Inversion OFF mode. If the light switch time spans 0:00 midnight, it is necessary to use the Inversion ON mode. The Inversion ON/OFF switch is at the top right corner.

"Light on Time" is to set the light switch time.

"Light off Time" is to set the light switch time.

"Rise up time" is to set the time required for the light to turn on from 30% to the set maximum brightness. The maximum setting time is 60 minutes.

"Rise down time" is to set the time required for the light to turn on from 30% to the set maximum brightness. time" is to set the time required for the lamp to turn off from the set maximum brightness to 30% of the lamp completely turned off. The maximum setting time is 60 minutes. Click the box after the corresponding setting item to enter the setting input. 5.5 The season and brightness settings will take effect immediately. After the time is set, you need to press the return key until the interface returns to the main interface. The main interface stays for more than 3 seconds, and the time setting will take effect. 6. After the setting is completed, all programs will automatically run according to the set values. When the screen has no operation for more than 2 minutes, it will enter the protection state. If you need to activate the screen again, just tap the screen.  Precautions for use: 1. When using the controller, the wiring must be correct and short-circuited. 2. The adapter power supply of the controller must be correct and not over-voltage

LUXGROW is a no-light controller that displays the PPF (total light output), PPFD (most people would call it PAR), and wattage of your grow lights.

This device allows you to set up multiple lighting networks and define different rooms where those lights operate. Within those rooms, you can change the intensity to define the PPFD your plants need at different stages of growth.
